HEALTH Sept 13, 2009 Make it simple for mothers and children. Isolate the big ticket items to themselves. Don't mix routine colds and childhood illnesses with Cardiac Wards and Ultra Extreme Methods Expenses Stop the lobbies on health and nutrition and medicine. Tell the people the whole truth about their food, water, and air,... and natural health measures. Stop the genetic engineering , monkeying around, with our food supply. Get the chemicals out of our drinking water and food. Pay attention to the founder of America's Pure Food Laws, Harvey Washington Wiley, who resigned in protest against the fraud and deception against those laws. Praise to James Capretta for his words on the Health Care Reform process. James Capretta explained, price-setting won't work. It fails in many ways. Price-setting will not "reduce costs" as some assert it will. Price setting will not improve efficiency as some claim. It's an artificial fix that won't last. He also explained can't use the claim of "Competitive Bidding" for part of the industry as a way to reduce costs. It will drive up costs in those areas which are not competitively bid. It's got to be all competitive bidding, and that's what we have now, free-enterprise, without government hands on it. Government hands on industry and business and healthcare is called fascism, socialism... and we have examples of that not working. In truth we fought wars to avoid such systems being imposed on us by either Russia, Germany, Italy. We know how the government sponsored Fannie May caused terrible and awful problems in the American economy. We know how the government is lobbied and manipulated by bribes and pay=offs from lobbiests. We know of no reason to expect any better results if we give control over health care to government. I have written this after listening to a CSPAN production of Ethics and Public Policy Center talks on Health Care Reform Bill proposals. It was a sales job, led by socialist minded people, with some input from free-thinkers, though they had to be very polite and roundabout in their words. James Capretta said BO's last speech made three assertions for which there is no evidence other than him saying so; in fact there is strong evidence to the contrary. That was such a polite way to say BO made three lies. Campaign rhetoric without substance. Well, he'll say, he intended them to be that way. Like saying, I didn't intend for it to hurt you when I robbed your money. I really meant to spend it better for you than you could. Sorry for the hurt. There are some things I would like to see happen. Let there be a place where mothers can take their children when sick for basic diagnostics when they have fever, pain, or an accident. Let that place be stand-alone, free from hi-tech overhead due to the costs of advanced extreme care methods. Just diagnose for ear ache, infections, bone breaks and sprains,...colds, flu, the common child hood illnesses type of thing. BUt don't load up the costs with paying for the Advanced Cardiac Ward, Extreme Age Care, etc. Let the small family clinic be just that and nothing more. So the costs can be reduced 50% or more. Let the Extreme Care stuff stand on its own. Make it pay it's own way. Reveal the truth about the adulteration of our foods and medicines, as well as the truth about natural methods of health care. Clean up our food before we pay one more dollar for a cancer cure research on some cancer that's likely caused by unclean food. 80% of health problems are connected with nutritional problems. Tell the people the truth, the whole truth, and don't fake it. The government can not fix this anymore than it has fixed social security. It just keeps taking more and more money and going deeper in the hole. Learn a lesson. Do not give billions of dollars of control to fatten the government. Read and understand Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution along with the 9th and 10th amendments. Keep the Constitution. The financial disaster we just experienced was blamed on government backed companies like Fannie May and Freddy Mack that connected with giant AIG world wide failures and many other companies, like Goldman Crooks who got bailed out by payments from AIG that was drug down by Fannie May and Freddy Mac. Now they want us to let the government back our health care too!!! Surely the American people won't be so dumbed down as to again give the government another way to take their money and give it to the fat-cats. Pertaining to our Food and Drug Administration, the F.D.A. The FDA grew out of the efforts of Harvey Washington Wiley. He was America's Chief Chemist and was responsible for establishing Pure Food and Drug Laws. He wrote a book exposing fraud and corruption against the pure food laws, through bribery money in Congress, and resigned his position. Things have only gotten worse since then. His book was reprinted about 30 years ago, and others have made the same statements; but to no avail. President Andrew Jackson said it was hard to walk through the halls of Congress and find a congressman who was not tainted with money from Mr. Bickel or his cronies (the national bank system) That bribery (influence peddling they call it, lobbying) has turned the ship of America from the course of the people to that course which most profits those who have our money used to lobby Congress for their profit. Our food is far worse than people realize. Get a high school annual from 1945 and compare the faces to now. Our soils are depleted of minerals, enzymes, and nature and they are also poisoned with chemicals all of which affect the food we eat. Our processed foods have hormones added to them, such as female hormones used with beef cattle; and other instances that affects our children. Our drinking water has become a cocktail of chemicals from waste run-off of factories. And the GMO's (Genetically Modified Organics) have wrecked havoc on more foods than the FDA wants us to know. In fact they have passed laws, in response to lobbies of companies like Monsanto to keep the American public ignorant about their manipulations of the food we eat. Our government has been effectively sold to the highest bidder. It serves mammon in deed and the people mostly only in name. Begin with repentance towards God for our sins, known and unknown, of omission and comission; then begin to honor HIM in all that we do; and then seek His blessing in taking care of our children as we should.
