Helping Your Family Is Starting Point of Helping Your Country

Begin the day with acknowledgement of God and prayer and thanksgiving.

“This is the day which the LORD has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Lead your family in acknowledgement of HIM. You are the oracle of God in your home

and priest and minister of God to your family in your home. Trust God to help you.

Eat righteous foods and cut out the trash foods; this includes what goes into your mouth and also into your ears and eyes and heart.

Learn the book of life and lead your family in learning God's word.

Cut off the TV and computer games. Give something that will help your children learn how to think, hold a thought, and develop it. Read the old books, the writings of people from days of old, when people appreciated God's Creation and the CREATOR.

A good understanding comes after doing the word of God. Quit accepting excuses to not do it. Put off the old man, and put on the new man in Christ. Jesus said “You are my friends if you do what I ask.”

Psalm 127 Except the LORD build the house (family, nation) they labor in vain.....

except the LORD keep the city (family, nation) the watchman alerts in vain.

Our Declaration of Independence acknowledged dependence on God for divine protection of this nation. Shouldn't we be drawing near to Him, lifting Him up to our family. Show the children He is worthy of honor and glory in this land. Or will your child say, “Daddy, if the Bible's so important, why don't they teach it in school?”

In our Constitution, the Founders affirmed the union was established by the Declaration of Independence twelve years earlier and the Constitution was written as an extension for the purpose “to form a more perfect Union.” The use of “more” says a union had already been formed. The Constitution gave more details on how the union would operate. The DOI was the charter showing the spirit and purpose, and the Constitution gave the By-Laws (how it would operate). This link between the two documents is why people used to teach the Constitution could only be read in the light of the DOI. The Constitution further acknowledges our LORD in Article 7 by the date.
